Track Anything

Something not working, a question, or an idea for the app — write and a person reads it.

What helps a reply arrive faster

Forgot your password

You can reset it yourself, without writing to anyone. On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password?, enter the email address on your account, and tap Email me a code. A 6-digit code arrives by email. Type it in with the password you want instead, and it takes effect straight away. The same thing is on the web at /forgot-password.

If the code never arrives, look in your spam folder first, then write to the address above from the email address on the account.

Your data

Everything the app stores, and who else can see any of it, is described in the privacy policy. Two things are in the app, under Settings, next to each other: Export my data hands you a JSON file to save or send wherever you like, and Delete account removes your account, everything you tracked, and your friend connections. Deletion cannot be undone, so export first if you want a copy.

The export file holds:

Two kinds of thing are left out on purpose. Nothing that could be used to get into the account travels in the file: no password, no two-factor secret or recovery codes, and no sign-in token. And your security records stay in the app rather than in the file — the log of sign-ins, password changes and sessions signed out, and the list of signed-in devices, are on the Security activity screen in Settings. A report you filed about someone is not in the file either.
